Abdulmalik Zubairu represents Bungudu/Maru Federal Constituency of Zamfara State in the House of Representatives on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC). He was returned at the February 2023 general election, and the Court of Appeal affirmed his election on 2 November 2023.
His constituency work in the 10th Assembly has centred on employment and welfare schemes, among them scholarships for 118 students at the Nigeria Certificate in Education level in January 2024, an empowerment programme for 61 unemployed health workers in August 2025, and a N50 million commitment to the banditry-affected Dansadau Emirate in June 2026.
