In the 10th Assembly, Yalleman chairs the House Committee on Police Affairs. In that role he worked on the Police Act amendment bill in 2024 and on police pension legislation in 2025, and in November 2025 backed a proposal for 15 per cent female recruitment into the Nigeria Police Force.
In May 2026 he was among eight APC House of Representatives candidates returned unopposed in the party's Jigawa primaries. As of August 2026, Yalleman remains the member for the constituency.
