Olatunji Akanni Akinosi represents the Ado-Odo/Ota federal constituency of Ogun State in the House of Representatives on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC). Born 9 June 1966, he took the seat at the 2023 general election after a contested APC primary in 2022, the result of which a rival aspirant disputed.
His constituency work has included cash and food distributions to constituents reported in January 2024. In September 2024 he cautioned against moves he said could damage Ogun West's prospects in the 2027 cycle, and in April 2026 APC youth leaders in the constituency disowned a purported endorsement of him. The Guardian reported in May 2026 that Akinosi did not secure a return ticket in the Ogun APC House primaries.
As of August 2026, Akinosi remains the member for Ado-Odo/Ota.
