Boma Goodhead represents Akuku-Toru/Asari-Toru federal constituency, Rivers State, in the House of Representatives, sitting with the All Progressives Congress. She was first elected in 2015, re-elected in 2019, and returned in 2023, a result the Court of Appeal affirmed in November 2023. She was born on 24 November 1970.
Goodhead contested the chairmanship of the Abuja Municipal Area Council in 2007 on the platform of the All Nigeria Peoples Party and sought a House nomination in 2011 under the Action Congress of Nigeria before joining the Peoples Democratic Party. She had earlier worked as an aide to James Ibori, then governor of Delta State. In December 2025 she was reported among four Rivers State members of the House who left the PDP for the APC.
In May 2026 the APC screening panel disqualified her, with 13 other aspirants, from the party's House primaries in Rivers State.
