On 11 February 2025 Isiaka was named Deputy Chief Whip of the House, filling the vacancy created by the death of Adewunmi Onanuga, also of Ogun State. In September 2024 the Ogun State House of Assembly summoned him over a dispute concerning government land in the state.
As of August 2026, Isiaka remains the member for Ifo/Ewekoro. In March 2026 groups within the constituency publicly opposed his bid for a further term, arguing for rotation of the seat.
