Sagir Ibrahim Koki represents Kano Municipal Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, sitting with the All Progressives Congress. He won the seat at the February 2023 general election and was sworn in with the 10th National Assembly in June 2023. He was born on 10 February 1971.
Koki was elected on the platform of the New Nigerian People's Party, part of that party's 2023 sweep of Kano. He announced his departure from the NNPP in mid-November 2025, citing the party's leadership crisis, and joined the APC at an event attended by former Kano governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje. Other NNPP members of the House issued a statement at the time denying any wholesale defection.
