Abdulhakeem Kamilu Ado represents the Wudil/Garko Federal Constituency of Kano State in the House of Representatives, holding the seat since the 10th Assembly was inaugurated on 13 June 2023. He entered the House in unusual circumstances: the constituency's New Nigeria Peoples Party candidate, Kamilu Ado Isah, his father, died on 21 February 2023, four days before the general election, and Ado was returned in his place, as reported by BBC Hausa and Legit.ng.
