About Hon. Mutu Nicholas Ebomo
Nicholas Ebomo Mutu represents Bomadi/Patani Federal Constituency of Delta State in the House of Representatives. He has held the seat continuously since 1999, making him among the longest-serving members of the National Assembly, and reporting in December 2025 recorded his move to the All Progressives Congress, the party on which our records list him.
Before entering the House, Mutu was chairman of Bomadi Local Government Council from 1996 to 1997. In the House he chaired the Committee on the Niger Delta Development Commission from 2009 to 2019.
In May 2026 Mutu lost the APC primary for the constituency to Basil Ganagana, ending his run of nominations. As of August 2026 he remains the sitting member.
