Ohiozojeh Peter Akpatason represents Akoko-Edo Federal Constituency of Edo State in the 10th House of Representatives on the platform of the All Progressives Congress. He chairs the House Committee on Telecommunications in the 10th Assembly and was returned to the House in the 2023 general election.
Akpatason was born on 28 November 1964 in Akoko-Edo. He worked with the Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria and served as President of the Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers between 2001 and 2009 before entering elective politics. In the 9th Assembly, 2019–2023, he served as Deputy Majority Leader of the House.
As of August 2026 Akpatason remains the member for Akoko-Edo.
