About Hon. Okechukwu Dibiagwu
Okechukwu Dibiagwu represents the Oguta/Ohaji-Egbema/Oru West Federal Constituency of Imo State in the House of Representatives on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC). He contested the February 2023 general election for the seat, and in September 2023 the National and State Houses of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Imo State declared him the winner of the poll.
Dibiagwu was born on 16 January 1970. In November 2025 he told reporters he had channelled more than one billion naira into empowerment schemes in the constituency, and in December 2025 he was among community leaders who described a security operation that ended a prolonged spell of armed activity in part of the area. He secured the APC ticket for the constituency in the party's May 2026 primary.
As of August 2026, Dibiagwu remains the member for Oguta/Ohaji-Egbema/Oru West.
