About Hon. Sada Soli Jibiya
Sada Soli Jibiya represents Jibia/Kaita Federal Constituency of Katsina State in the House of Representatives on the platform of the All Progressives Congress. He was returned at the February 2023 general election and took his seat when the 10th National Assembly was inaugurated in June 2023. He was born on 13 March 1962.
Soli first entered the House in 2007 for the 6th National Assembly and was returned again for the 9th and 10th Assemblies. He came to elective office from the National Assembly bureaucracy, joining as a legislative officer in 1992 and serving as a committee clerk in both chambers, and was attached to Nigeria's mission in Washington DC between 1999 and 2003. He served as Chief of Staff to Speaker Aminu Waziri Tambuwal from 2011 to 2015, and has chaired the House committees on Inter-Parliamentary Affairs and on Water Resources.
He was canvassed in the April 2023 press as a contender for the speakership of the 10th House, a contest ultimately won by Tajudeen Abbas. As of August 2026 Soli remains the member for Jibia/Kaita.
