Born on 3 July 1970, Bob has been among the more publicly active Rivers members during the state's political dispute, arguing in 2025 for the presentation of the state budget to the House of Assembly, calling on the Federal Government to intervene, and, in April 2025, demanding the return of N300 million in conference hosting funds to the state. In January 2026 he responded publicly to presidential aide Daniel Bwala's comments on the Rivers crisis.
In May 2026 Bob won the APC primary for the constituency ahead of the 2027 general election.
