Yusuf Sa'idu Miga represents the Miga/Jahun federal constituency of Jigawa State in the House of Representatives on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, returning to the chamber at the 2023 general election.
Miga is the longest-serving federal lawmaker from Jigawa State, with about 16 years in the House by 2026. In October 2025 he led a legislative push for the restoration of the Aujara state constituency.
In May 2026 he lost the APC primary for a further term ahead of the 2027 general election, a result reported by TVC News, Daily Post, The Whistler and Blueprint. As of August 2026 he remains the sitting member for Miga/Jahun.
