Diket Plang has represented Plateau Central in the Senate since 13 June 2023, elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress. He is serving a first term, having been declared winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission on 15 April 2023 and succeeding Hezekiah Dimka.
Plang was born on 12 December 1972 in Plateau State.
