Olajide Emmanuel Ipinsagba, listed as Jide Ipinsagba, has been Senator for Ondo North since 13 June 2023, elected on the All Progressives Congress platform with 115,933 votes, or 70.4 per cent of the ballot. He succeeded Robert Ajayi Boroffice, who left the seat to pursue a presidential bid.
A native of Ikare-Akoko, Ipinsagba took an HND in surveying at Rufus Giwa Polytechnic in 1987, an MBA at Delta State University, Abraka, in 2000, a master's in public administration at Adekunle Ajasin University in 2012 and a doctorate in business administration at Nasarawa State University. He was special assistant on industrialisation to the Governor of Ondo State in 2007, sat on the state transition committee in 2017 and on the Rufus Giwa Polytechnic governing council from 2017 to 2018. In the 10th Senate he chairs the Committee on Public Procurement and is vice-chairman of the Committee on Petroleum Resources (Downstream).
As of August 2026 he remains a serving APC senator.
