Bamidele Salam represents the Ede North/Ede South/Egbedore/Ejigbo Federal Constituency of Osun State in the House of Representatives. He first won the seat in 2019 and was returned at the 2023 general election. He sits in the House on the platform of the Accord party, having previously been elected as a member of the Peoples Democratic Party.
In the 10th Assembly, Salam chairs the House Committee on Public Accounts. In June 2025 the Speaker publicly credited the committee's oversight of oil companies with the recovery of more than 61.5 billion naira. He has also spoken on insecurity and on the conduct of elections in Osun State.
As of August 2026, Salam holds the Accord ticket for the constituency, secured at the party's primaries in May 2026.
