About Senator Adaramodu Adeyemi Raphael
Adeyemi Raphael Adaramodu, commonly known as Yemi Adaramodu, is Senator for Ekiti South, elected on the All Progressives Congress platform at the 25 February 2023 general election and sworn in on 13 June 2023. He unseated the incumbent, Biodun Olujimi of the Peoples Democratic Party, taking the seat for the APC in his first Senate term. He serves as spokesperson of the Senate and chairs the Senate Committee on Youth Development.
Adaramodu was chairman of Ekiti South West Local Government Area, later Chief of Staff to the Governor of Ekiti State, and a member of the House of Representatives, where he chaired the House Committee on Youth Development.
As of August 2026 he remains the Senate's official spokesperson.
