Maiduguri Triple Suicide Bombings
Date: March 16, 2026
Three coordinated suicide bombings struck Maiduguri, Borno State, on 16 March 2026. The attackers detonated explosives at a crowded market, a post office area, and the gate of the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital, killing at least 23 people and injuring over 100.
