Muhammadu Buhari Becomes President

Buhari became president after defeating incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan in the 2015 presidential election. After his first term, in the 2019 presidential election, he also emerged victorious over PDP candidate, ex-vice president Atiku Abubakar, to become re-elected.
