About Hon. Aminu Jaji

Aminu Jaji represents Kaura Namoda/Birnin Magaji Federal Constituency of Zamfara State in the House of Representatives on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC). He was born on 13 March 1974.

Jaji contested for the Speakership of the 10th House ahead of its June 2023 inauguration, drawing endorsements from sections of the Zamfara APC before the party settled on another aspirant. In October 2023 he called on the Federal Government to investigate reports that soldiers had held talks with armed bandits in the North West. Constituents petitioned Speaker Tajudeen Abbas in May 2024 seeking his recall over what they described as poor representation; the process did not proceed to a recall.

Jaji has run repeated constituency distributions, including grain and food-item handouts during Ramadan in February 2026. As of August 2026 he remains the member for Kaura Namoda/Birnin Magaji.
