Amobi Godwin Ogah represents Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency of Abia State in the House of Representatives on the platform of the Labour Party. He won the seat at the 2023 general election, defeating the incumbent Nkiru Onyejeocha; the Court of Appeal affirmed his return in November 2023 after post-election litigation.
In the 10th Assembly, Ogah has worked mainly on health legislation, pressing for increased domestic malaria funding in 2024, sponsoring tuberculosis-related legislation debated in June 2026, and joining the House inquiry into the management of foreign health grants in May 2026. A bill he championed to establish an agricultural institute in Abia passed the House in October 2025. He has also advocated the creation of an additional South East state.
