Munachim Alozie represents Obingwa/Osisioma Ngwa/Ugwunagbo Federal Constituency, Abia State, in the 10th House of Representatives (2023–2027) on the platform of the Labour Party. He won the seat at the 25 February 2023 general election.
Alozie previously served in the Abia State House of Assembly, leaving the Peoples Democratic Party in June 2022; the Assembly named a replacement Chief Whip on his departure. On 11 September 2023 the Abia State National and State Houses of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission to conduct a rerun in some wards of Osisioma Ngwa Local Government Area within 90 days, in the same sitting that sacked two other Labour Party members from the state.
As of August 2026, Alozie holds the seat. In May 2026 the Labour Party in Abia was reported to have denied a sitting House member a return ticket.
