About Hon. Tochukwu Chinedu Okere
Tochukwu Chinedu Okere represents Owerri Federal Constituency, comprising Owerri Municipal, Owerri North and Owerri West, Imo State, in the 10th House of Representatives. He won the seat at the general election of 25 February 2023 on the platform of the Labour Party.
Okere was educated at Government College, Umuahia, and holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in project management from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri. In the 10th Assembly he was appointed chairman of the House Committee on Diaspora and serves as vice chairman of the Committee on Christian Pilgrimage Affairs.
